PAL Course

Take the first step toward responsible firearm ownership with our Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) Course, offered every Saturday at Jost Arms.

This government-recognized course covers everything you need to know to safely handle, store, and transport firearms in Canada — a mandatory requirement to obtain your PAL through the RCMP.

Course Details

• Arrival time: 8:30 AM
• Course Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Course Duration: Approximately 9 - 10 hours, including breaks and testing

Please arrive at 8:30 AM to complete the required paperwork. Doors close at 9:00 AM sharp, and anyone arriving after this time will not be permitted to attend.

Payment & Reservation Policy

If you prefer to pay in-store or by e-transfer, an invoice with payment instructions will be sent to you by email after registration. You will have 3 days from the date you receive your invoice to submit payment. Reservations that remain unpaid after this period will be automatically cancelled.

Cancelation Policy

Students may cancel a course registration by providing notice at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled course start time. When cancellation is received within this period, a refund will be issued in the form of store credit or gift card only.

Cancellations made less than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled course start time, as well as failure to attend the course (no-shows), are not eligible for a refund or credit.
