SHIPPING POLICY

At Jost Arms Inc., we take pride in our efficient shipping methods and careful packaging to ensure your orders arrive safely and on time. Our shipping costs are transparent and reasonable, providing you with a seamless shopping experience.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

All returns or exchanges must be accompanied by a valid receipt and requested within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:

Firearms
Ammunition
Reloading supplies, including but not limited to all types of powder, projectiles, casings, primers, and certain reloading tools
Sale or clearance items
Special order items
Back-ordered items

All returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
Solvents, cleaners, and chemical products must be unopened to be eligible for return.

Optics and electronic items are considered final sale once opened or used.

Approved returns will be issued to the original method of payment (cash or debit) or may be issued as store credit, at the discretion of Jost Arms Inc.

Jost Arms Inc. reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange that does not meet the conditions outlined above.

Course Cancellation Policy

Students may cancel a course registration by providing notice at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled course start time. When cancellation is received within this period, a refund will be issued in the form of store credit or gift card only.

Cancellations made less than forty-eight (48) hours before th e scheduled course start time, as well as failure to attend the course (no-shows), are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Course Cancellation by the Business

Jost Arms Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to weather conditions, instructor unavailability, insufficient enrollment, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to facility issues, safety concerns, or regulatory requirements.

In the event a course is cancelled by Jost Arms Inc., registered students will receive store credit or a gift card equal to the full amount paid, which may be used to reschedule for a future course at no additional cost.

Course Refund Policy

All course refunds are subject to the applicable Course Cancellation Policy and Course Cancellation by the Business Policy.

Where a refund is approved, it will be issued in the form of store credit or gift card only. Cash, debit, or credit card refunds are not provided.

Refunds are not available for cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled course start time or for failure to attend (no-shows).

Rescheduling Policy

Students may request to reschedule a course registration by providing notice at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled course start time. All rescheduling requests must be made by contacting Jost Arms Inc. by phone at 705-885-2767 or by email at info@jostarms.com

Approved rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may be completed using issued store credit or gift card at no additional cost.

Rescheduling requests made within forty-eight (48) hours of the course start time, as well as no-shows, are not permitted and will result in forfeiture of the registration fee.

Transfer Policy

Course registrations are non-transferable. Under no circumstances may a registration be transferred, sold, assigned, or given to another individual. The name on the registration must match the individual attending the course and any associated certification or documentation.

Requests to transfer a registration to another person will not be permitted and will be treated in accordance with the applicable cancellation, refund, or rescheduling policies.

Code of Conduct

All students are expected to conduct themselves in a safe, respectful, and responsible manner at all times during the course. This includes following all instructor directions, safety rules, applicable laws and regulations, and all policies and standards of the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO).

Zero Tolerance: Students must not attend or participate in the course while under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs, prescription medication misuse, or any substance that may impair judgment, coordination, or safety. Any suspected impairment will result in immediate removal from the course.

Jost Arms Inc. reserves the absolute right to remove any student for unsafe behaviour, impairment, disruptive conduct, or failure to follow instructions. Students removed for code of conduct violations are not eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling under any circumstances.

Firearms, Ammunition & Reloading Sales Policy

All sales of firearms, ammunition, and reloading items are final.

Firearms and ammunition are sold in compliance with all applicable federal and provincial laws and regulations. Valid licensing and identification must be presented at the time of purchase where required by law.

Reloading items, including but not limited to powder, primers, projectiles, casings, and reloading components or tools, are sold as final sale due to safety and regulatory considerations.

Once a firearm, ammunition, or reloading item has been sold and has left the premises, it is not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit under any circumstances.

Jost Arms Inc. reserves the right to refuse the sale of any regulated item at its discretion and in accordance with the law.

Gift Card Policy

Gift cards issued by Jost Arms Inc. have no cash value and are non-refundable.
Gift cards may be used toward the purchase of in-store merchandise or courses, subject to applicable policies.

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged, except where required by law.

Gift cards issued as part of a refund, cancellation, or store credit are subject to the same terms and conditions as purchased gift cards.

Jost Arms Inc. reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit the use of a gift card where fraud, misuse, or policy violations are suspected.

Back Orders & Special Orders Policy

All special order and back-ordered items require full payment at the time of order, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Special order and back-ordered items are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once the order has been placed.

Delivery timelines for back-ordered and special order items are estimates only and may change due to supplier availability, manufacturer delays, or shipping issues beyond our control.

Jost Arms Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, distributors, or third-party carriers.

In the event a special order or back-ordered item cannot be fulfilled, Jost Arms Inc. will issue a refund or store credit, at its discretion.

Pricing & Errors Policy

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice.

While Jost Arms Inc. makes every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occur, including but not limited to pricing, descriptions, or availability. Jost Arms Inc. reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions at any time, including after an order has been placed.

In the event of a pricing or availability error, Jost Arms Inc. may cancel or refuse an order. Any affected payment will be refunded to the original method of payment, or issued as a gift card at the customer’s choice.

Displayed prices do not include applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
